Meerut recreated in Mumbai for SRK’s next

Shah Rukh Khan’s dwarf film is all set to roll soon and BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that the film will be shot in Mumbai. Sets have been set up in the city to replicate Meerut.

“Since Shah Rukh is playing a dwarf, some VFX technicalities are involved, which will be difficult to execute outdoors in the midst of crowds. So Aanand thought of shooting on a set in a controlled location to facilitate the process. The film is expected to roll by the end of this month,” said a source close to the film, according to Ahmedabad Mirror.

Recently there have been rumours that Alia Bhatt had been signed for the leading lady role but these rumours were quashed by Rai’s spokesperson. It remains to be seen who ends up bagging the role opposite Khan.
