MAX to revive Yash Raj movies with film festival

Multi Screen Media’s movie and events channel, MAX is celebrating legendry filmmaker Yash Chopra’s 50th year in the film industry by running a two-week festival of Yash Raj movies.

The Yash Raj Film Festival will commence on Monday 8th February with movies being telecast at 20:00 each weeknight (Monday to Friday) and Sunday at 16:00.

The line-up consists of ‘Aaina’, ‘Mashaal’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Darr’, ‘Kala Pathar’, ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, ‘Silsila’, ‘Veer Zaara’, ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’ and ‘Kabhi Kabhie’.

Sister station, Sony Entertainment Television Asia also has an exclusive tie-up with the production house to telecast programmes produced by the newly launched Yash Raj TV company. However, they are still yet to pick up in ratings.
