Mawra Hocane keen on period dramas

Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane made her debut in ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ earlier this year. The actress has expressed that she’d love to do a period drama.

“I want to take up something like Umrao Jaan, basically period dramas. I love them on screen and it would be interesting to act in one,” said Hocane, according to Hindustan Times.

Hocane is in the process of signing further films as she continues, “I am reading scripts at the moment and finalising details. I?am open to working in all genres and don�۪t want to limit myself by looking for work in a particular type of film”.

She also added that she doesn’t want to plan ahead, “I don�۪t want to plan anything. I like to take things as they come, especially when it comes to my career. I just want to keep working. Be it films in India or abroad, I am willing to take up good work. I love Priyanka Chopra�۪s style of work and would love to follow her career path”.
