The producer of Bollywood movie ‘Mausam’, Sheetal Talwar has expressed his anger at troubled channel, Sahara One, alleging it has not paid the full amount for the rights of his film.

In 2011, Sahara One acquired the seven-year rights of 100 films including ‘Mausam’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, plus ‘Delhi Belly’, ‘Ragini MMS’ and ‘Bol’ for Rs 70 crore.

Talwar told Mumbai Mirror, “I have yet to receive Rs 1 crore on the satellite deal that I struck with Sahara. And despite several reminders, the officials at the channel are showing no signs of paying up. They showed great interest while buying the satellite rights of my film. I wish they would show half that interest in making the full payment.”

Sahara One is currently undergoing major changes in India after its Sahara Group Chief, Subrata Roy was arrested over non-refund to investors.
