MATV ceases broadcasting on Virgin Media

MATV has ceased broadcasting on Virgin Media in the Leicester region.

The channel, which broadcasts also on terrestrial in Leicester terminated its transmission last Thursday (19th May).

A Virgin Media spokesperson told BizAsia.co.uk, “Unfortunately Midland Asian TV is no longer available on Virgin Media due to a termination of the carriage agreement. Virgin Media customers can still access a broad range of Asian content to suit every taste by subscribing to our new Asian Mela collection. This includes 11 of the very best Asian channels including Colors TV, B4U, Star TV and Zee TV at great value for just �11 per month.”

MATV continues to broadcast on Sky Digital, free-to-air.
