‘Matti Ki Banno’ & ‘Wanted’ axed on Colors

In a surprise move, Colors has decided to axe two shows, one with immediate effect.

The first to see the chop from the channel’s schedule is the recently launched ‘Wanted High Alert’ series, which was only introduced last month as a part of the channel’s new ‘Shaandar Shanivaar’ strand.

A source from the industry has informed TellyBuzz, “Colors was not in the favour of the show which was counting very less number of ratings to the channel. And therefore the channel has stopped shooting for the show in between, saying that the show has been called off by the channel. Last Saturday was the end of the show.”

The channel will now air repeats of popular shows in that vacant slot.

Similarly, the weekday drama ‘Matti Ki Banno’ produced by Hema Malini, is set to go off-air in May. According to sources, the show will be winding up with the final episode scheduled to air on Friday 6th May. Apparently, the timeslot it is aired (18:30) has not worked in favour of the show.
