Manoj Bajpayee open to signing ‘Sarkar 3’ for RGV

Ram Gopal Varma may not be on everyone’s top list, however it’s fair to say that he has been the reason behind many actors having a good career. One such name is Manoj Bajpayee, who has always had a high regard for the unconventional filmmaker.

When Varma revealed that he will be making ‘Sarkar 3’ with Amitabh Bachchan, there was much speculation as to who else would be a part of the project. When asked if he would be,��Times of India��reported Bajpayee expressing, “I am always hopeful of collaborating and working with Ram Gopal Varma. My career is because of him, and I owe my career to him. I really hold him in highest regards. Please hope and pray that someday we will make a film together. If he offers me a role in ‘Sarkar 3’ and if it’s really exciting then I would definitely love to do it.”

Talking about his rapport with the filmmaker, the actor went on to add, “I am in regular touch with him; in fact, a month back, I was sitting in his office. We keep messaging and talking to each other, meeting each other. I enjoy his conversation, especially listening to him because he doesn’t let me talk. I love his candidness. I am not as candid as him.”

Varma does have the extreme title of being controversial attached to his name. Despite being so outspoken on social media and going on record for saying things that cause a stir, Bajpayee knows Varma well enough to not be affected by it. “This is the Ramu I have always known, and I don’t think he should stop being himself. If he is not that way, then that would be very shocking for me. And Ramu doesn’t care about the criticism or what people think about him. That’s the most beautiful thing about Ram Gopal Varma. This is what I envy about him. I wish I could be that way. I am not diplomatic, but I am not as candid as Ramu,” the actor expressed.
