Television veteran Anupam Shyam, known for his role of Thakur Sajjan Singh in Star Plus’ hit series ‘Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya’ has been admitted into ICU at Mumbai’s Lifeline Hospital.
PTI reports that the 62 year old is being treated for dialysis. It is said that he had asked his friends for financial help for the treatment.
His brother, Anurag said, “Since we couldn’t admit him there, we rushed him to Lifeline Hospital immediately. He is currently in ICU.”
He added, “He could not get a good treatment due to financial crisis. I have informed his friends about his health and also reached out to Being Human through their website. I even got a call from Manoj Bajpayee, who said he will look into the matter.”
Shyam was last seen in Star Plus’ ‘Krishna Chali London’. BizAsiaLive.com wishes Shyam a speedy recovery.
