Manjiri Pupala to turn negative in ‘Dhinchak Ishqbaaz’; new female lead to be introduced

With Star Plus’ ‘Dhinchak Ishqbaaz’ undergoing several changes, the latest buzz suggests that new lead actress Manjiri Pupala will be turning negative on the show, to make way for a new female lead.

‘Dhinchak Ishqbaaz’ has recently had a generation leap, which saw most of the front-line cast axed, with the exception of Nakuul Mehta. Yesterday, rumours of a new lead actress were denied by sources. However, IWM Buzz now reports that Manjiri will be not be axed but moved to a negative role. A new lead will then play the love-interest on the show opposite Mehta’s character, Shivaansh.

When asked Pupala about the news, she told the publication, “Honestly, I have no idea about it whatsoever. It is as bizarre to me as it must be to you.”
