Unlike many film promotions recently, the makers of ‘Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive’ decided to promote their film on the hit reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ before it’s actual trailer release.

Hosted by Salman Khan, many projects are promoted on the show after the release of the trailers. When lead actor Manish Paul caught up with the media, he was questioned as to why they decided to take such a drastic step before hand. “I have good relations with Salman Khan. Who would leave an opportunity to promote the film?”Deccan Chronicle reported the actor questioning back.

With the prequel ‘Tere Bin Laden’ (2010) starring Ali Zafar in the lead, director Abhishek Sharma, explained why he decided to replace the actor with Paul. “Ali’s journey was over in the the first part. I knew that only Manish Paul could have done this role. You will understand this after seeing the film.”

Paul also spoke about what joining a cast that were already familiar with each other from the first film was like, “Initially I felt little left out but later I had a blast with all of them while shooting.”

The comedy film is set for release on 19th February.
