Manish Malhotra to turn director for Meena Kumari biopic starring Kriti Sanon?

Popular fashion designer, Manish Malhotra is reportedly planning to turn director for the biopic of Meena Kumari. Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play the lead role.

It is reported that the film will be backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The untitled project is currently in pre-production stages, with a script being finalised.

Kumari had a career spanning over 33 years. Her last film was ‘Pakeezah’ (1972).
