Mani Ratnam signs Alia Bhatt?

The ever popular Alia Bhatt seems to have been flying high ever since she proved her mettle in her first films since she step foot in the industry. News now has it that filmmaker Mani Ratnam has signed the actress for his upcoming venture.

Not much has been revealed about the project but it is thought that Ratnam was so impressed by Bhatt’s acting skills that he simply could not wait to work with her, more so after the release of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, which saw Bhatt opposite Varun Dhawan for the second time.

Bhatt will also be seen in ‘Shandaar’ alongside Shahid Kapoor and also opposite her crush Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s forthcoming film. She will also star in Mohit Suri’s next which will see her in a different avatar.
