Mani Ratnam returns to work after being hospitalised for cardiac problems

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam has returned to work after being hospitalised for cardiac problems.

India Today reports that Ratnm had checked into Apollo Hospital in Chennai. The news was announced on Twitter by a local media professional. He said, “Director #ManiRatnam admitted to Greams Road Apollo hospital due to cardiac problems.”

However, Ratnam’s representative confirmed that he was back at work after his check-up. The representative said, “After a routine check-up, Mani Ratnam sir is back to office today with his routine work. All is Well.”

Last July, Ratnam had complained of similar chest pains. He was then admitted to hospital for a check-up. He was then later discharged.
