Mani Ratnam puts Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer on hold?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was to be seen next in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. However, it seems that the filmmaker may work on another project before that and has effectively put the film on temporary hold.

Filmfare reports that Ratnam is looking to work on a romantic film before ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ completes. The film’s first two schedules are already done but the third hasn’t yet gone ahead due to the lockdown in India and some of the rest of the world at the moment.

As such, this could mean a longer wait for fans of Rai Bachchan to see her on screen again.
