It’s been four years since we last saw Mallika Sherawat on our screens. Her last appearance was in ‘Dirty Politics’ (2015). Now she’s set to make big screen return.
Reported in DNA India, Sherawat has confirmed that she has signed an upcoming film titled ‘Zeenat’. The ‘Welcome’ (2007) actress reveals that this will be something she has never done before. “I feel the film’s subject is almost in the space of work that I have been associated with for a while now. It’s fortunate that this is an absolutely commercial Hindi film, which helps convey a message to a larger section of society. I am thrilled and looking forward to this role and the film.”
‘Zeenat’ which will be directed by Saandesh Nayak, will be a film on social drama around relationships. “Mallika has already started attending workshops and is involved in the pre-production work,” says Nayak.
Sherawat made headlines recently when her and her other half were attacked by robbers in Paris.
