Mallika Sherawat invited to speak at Oxford Union

Mallika Sherawat has been invited to the speak at the world’s most famous debating society; the Oxford Union, which is held at the infamous Oxford University.

Lokmarg reports, however, the actress wont be able to make the event. “I am thrilled and it’s a great honour for me to be invited to speak at the historic Oxford Union. I would love to be there and address the students but right now I want to concentrate on shooting for my new film which will start its first schedule in Mauritius,” she said in a statment.

Running for almost 200 years, the Oxford Union has had the likes of Sir Winston Churchill, Desmond Tutu, Mother Teresa, Albert Einstein, the Dalai Lama, Michael Jackson and Malala Yousafzai, to name a few, give talks, discussions and debates about issues that effect the world.
