Malaika Arora Khan to drop the ‘Khan’ surname?

Much has been speculated about Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan’s separation; whether or not the couple are headed for divorce is still nof��known. However, the latest rumour surrounding the duo is that Malaika Arora Khan recently decideded to stop using the ‘Khan’ name and requested to be referred to as Malaika Arora.

Mid Day quote a source as saying, “Malaika lives with their son. All this while, she was using Arbaaz’s surname and had never objected to it. But recently at an event when the host was about announce her entry on stage she apparently requested the organisers not to add Khan in her name… At the last moment the changes were made and the announcement was made as per Malaika’s wish.”

The couple got married in 1998 and have a teenage son: Arhaan Khan.
