Malaika Arora Khan responds to link-up rumours with Arjun Kapoor

Malaika Arora Khan has rubbished rumours of a link-up with Arjun Kapoor after her split from estranged husband, Arbaaz Khan.

It was back in March that the couple came out to confirm their separation. Since then, Arbaaz and Malaika have been linked to various people. Recently, reports emerged of Arjun being spotted outside Malaika’s Tuscany Heights apartment.

A report in DNA India cited Malaika saying, “Arjun is a very good friend of mine. But people give a very different meaning to it, which isn’t true.” Even while filing their mutual separation in March, the couple had agreed that their decision is not because of a third person.

In a statement, the couple released the following statement, “We are not separated because of a third random person, like there were stories of a friendship between a businessman and Malaika. Nor was it about his family disapproving of her lifestyle, nor does she feel that her husband is not financially stable. She is not crying on her brother-in-law Salman’s shoulders, asking him to help. They are our family, so please don’t talk about them like that.”
