Makers of ‘Lucknow Central’ keen to show film to Sanjay Dutt

‘Lucknow Central’ tells the true story of how some inmates from Mumbai’s most notorious jail formed a music band, and if news is to be believed, the makers really want Sanjay Dutt to see it.

As Times of India reports, the team visited Yerwada Jail during Independence day and gave the inmates a live performance. Now with Dutt having served time there in the past, and having taken on approved activities himself whilst he was there, the makers of the film are eager to see what he thinks of the film.

Starring Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Diana Penty and Ronit Roy, ‘Lucknow Central’ is based on a true events, where a group of inmates from the jail form a band in order to escape. The film is set to hit the big screens on 15th September.
