Mahima Chaudhry ready for a comeback

Making a highly successful debut in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Pardes'(1997), Mahima Chaudhry made her mark in Bollywood with films like ‘Lajja” (2001) and ‘Yeh Tere Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar’ (2001). However her acting career seemed short lived after she married and became a mother. Now the actress is ready to make a comeback in Bollywood and get the ball rolling again.

Having a keen interest in regional films, Chaudhry expresses how she doesn’t want a big film comeback, she just wants something interesting, “I don’t want to put pressure on myself of making a comeback. I don’t want to do something extraordinary. It could be a small film but the plot should be interesting. I want to do regional films because they are coming out with great scripts,” Times of India report her stating.

Not shying away from different roles, it’s no surprise that Chaudhry has had many flops too. However, this hasn’t pulled her away from what she loves doing, and with these high spirits it will sure been good to see her back on screen.
