Mahesh Shetty replaces Ajit Varghese at JioStar
Following the departure of Ajit Varghese earlier today, JioStar has formally announced the appointment of Mahesh Shetty as Head of Revenue, Entertainment & International.
Shetty, who has been instrumental in leading the Linear Content Services (LCS) division, will now assume the responsibilities previously held by Varghese, including overseeing monetisation efforts across JioStar’s television, digital and international platforms.
Varghese joined JioStar in 2023 as Head of Network Advertising Sales, transitioning from Disney Star. Prior to his tenure at Disney Star, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at ShareChat and Moj.
