Renowned filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar is reportedly set to collaborate once again with Sanjay Dutt, his ‘Vaastav’ leading man, for the Hindi adaptation of his critically acclaimed Marathi film Juna Furniture.
Manjrekar not only directed the original Marathi version but also starred in the lead role. According to industry sources, Sanjay Dutt was his first and only choice to headline the Hindi remake. The duo share a longstanding professional rapport and personal admiration, having previously worked together on several successful projects including ‘Kurukshetra’ and ‘Hathyar’.
