Mahesh Bhatt to make a transition into television?

Television these days is what seems to be moving fast. With the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and now Anil Kapoor venturing into the Indian TV arena, Mahesh Bhatt seems to want to jump on the bandwagon. BizAsia has learnt that Bhatt will be doing just that soon.

Bhatt confirmed, according to Hindustan Times, that the programme will be in conjunction with TV producer Rajan Sahi and will be a TV drama but writer Zama Habib has categorically expressed that it does not fall into the saas-bahu genre.

As Kapoor looks towards a second series of ’24’ India, it seems Bhatt will be giving some shows a run for their money.
