Mahesh Bhatt has high hopes for ‘City Lights’ actress Patralekha

As his forthcoming production ‘City Lights’ is well under way, Mahesh Bhatt seems extremely confident that audiences will be able to connect with the film on many levels. Having roped in some new talent, Bhatt is particularly impressed with debut actress Patralekha.

Talking to the media about how well he feels she has performed, NDTV��report Bhatt expressing, “If you get connected to your character, then from your first film itself, you can emerge as a clear actress. She has clarity about what she is doing and she has given a moving performance in this film.”

‘City Lights’ has been directed by Hansal Mehta, and will also star actor Rajkummar Rao.

The film is set to hit the silver screens on 30th May.
