Mahesh Bhatt doesn’t want to work with daughter Alia?

When it comes to Bollywood families, audiences are always longing to see them work together in a film. However, some of the family members have other ideas. One such being is Mahesh Bhatt, who has apparently gone on record to state he doesn’t want to work with his daughter Alia.

It’s fair to say that the ‘Student of the Year’ (2012) actress is definitely finding her way to the top of her career. So when her father was asked when will he be signing her for one of his productions, it was a shock to hear his response.��Reported by��Hindustan Times, Bhatt expressed how Alia “is a star in her own world, and I don’t work with stars.”

In response to this however, the actress laughed the comment off and expressed, “I think these (her father’s remark that she is too big a star) are just excuses that he is making (smiles). If dad wants to cast me, he will go ahead with it. But if it ever happens, it will be done properly. I don’t want to do a random film in a hurry. Whenever it happens, it will be grand.”

Junior Bhatt will next be seen paired opposite Shahid Kapoor in their upcoming ‘Shaandaar’. Set to release on 22 October, the film also stars Kapoor’s real life father Pankaj Kapur.
