The Maharashtra government has moved the Supreme Court in India over Salman Khan’s recent acquaintance in the 2002 hit-and-run case.
Earlier this month, Khan was given the all-clear by the Bombay High Court. It had termed lower court’s verdict as erred thereby acquitting the actor of all charges. At the time, it ruled that the prosecution had failed to prove “beyond reasonable doubt” that actor was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident and was drunk.
No further developments are expected on this until after the Christmas break.
