Madhurima Tuli to play Akshay Kumar’s wife in ‘Baby’

Model turned actress Madhurima Tuli has reportedly been signed for Neeraj Pandey’s next ‘Baby’ to play Akshay Kumar’s wife in the film.

Talking to Times Of India, Pandey said, “In the past, Madhurima had met us and auditioned for a film. I was quite impressed with her. While that film is still under work, as soon as the role in Baby opened up, we selected her as she fitted the ensemble film perfectly.”

On her role as Kumar’s wife in the film, a source told the publication, “The husband-wife relationship is uniquely crafted and has multiple layers of emotions. It’s a beautiful love story and several A-listers were vying for the role. But Neeraj wanted a fresh face.”

The film also stars Taapsee Pannu playing an agent. ‘Baby’ releases in January.
