Madhuri talks about “disciplined industry”

Its been a few years since we’ve seen Madhuri Dixit Nene on-screen. The 90s superstar’s last outing was ‘Gulaab Gang’ in 2014.

Talking about the way the industry has been shaping up in recent years, Nene told Mid-Day, “Today films are being made on time and everyone has become punctual. There is discipline. Also, different kinds (concept) of films are being made and are doing well. It is not just about song and dance, they have started focusing on the story too.”

“Today women (actress) are coming in the forefront and producing films which is wonderful. You get a bound script, you are aware about your role, your look and actors just have to focus on their performance. The industry is moving in the right direction,” added Dixit Nene.

She added that she would return to the big screen when and if the right type of role is offered to her.
