Madhuri Dixit’s TV return in Indian remake of ‘The Good Wife’?

Having been a panel judge on a reality TV show and also signing two select film projects, it seems Madhuri Dixit-Nene is gearing up for something quite special. BizAsia has learnt that the actress may well feature in the Hindi TV remake of the American series, ‘The Good Wife’.

News has it that a major production house is currently in conversation with Dixit-Nene to star in the remake. Hindustan Times report that the actress is believed to have agreed to the project already and is set to play the protagonist’s role. An insider divulged, “This will be a big-budget show. Since Madhuri is busy with several other commitments including her films, the availability of her dates is the only aspect that poses a major challenge. Things will get clearer in the next two to three weeks”.
