Madhuri Dixit to end current run of ‘KBC’?

Sony Entertainment Television Asia is leaving no stone unturned to mark Madhuri Dixit’s return to the small screen.

According toBizAsia.co.uksources, the channel will use the final episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ to unveil the Bollywood screen goddess as the judge of its forthcoming dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’.

It was reported earlier that Madhuri will be judging the series, which launches on Monday 13th December. Incidentally ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ will air in the same 21:00 time slot as ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. However, the show is only expected to air Monday and Tuesdays with a weekend special episode.

Bollywood pundit and ZEE Network presenter Komal Nahta told Sabras Radio and��BizAsia.co.uk��Editor, Raj Baddhan that Sony TV will use its big ticket show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ to pave the way for the much awaited entertainment show.

He further added that the channel is keeping its plans under wraps and it is expected to make an announcement imminently on Madhuri’s comeback on the small screen.

The final episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is scheduled to air on Thursday 9th December at 21:00, in which Madhuri Dixit is expected to be introduced in by show host Amitabh Bachchan.

Previously, Madhuri Dixit hosted a matrimonial show ‘Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai’ on Sony TV, however, it failed and the concept was scrapped completely.
