Madhuri Dixit to do item track in ‘Dil’ sequel?

Madhuri Dixit is set to do an item song in the sequel of ‘Dil’ (1990), which is currently being worked on by Indra Kumar.

The filmmaker is currently promoting his adult comedy ‘Grand Masti’ (2013) and is in the scripting stages of ‘Dil 2’, which originally starred Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit. The announcement for ‘Dil 2’ is expected around the 27th of October this year, which marks Kumar’s 25 years in the industry – and it was the same day he started shooting for ‘Dil’.

Kumar said, “It will be a strong love story. I am still writing the script. I started shooting for Dil on October 27, as it was my first release. Hence I want to announce my new film on that date this year.”

The sequel will have a fresh pair starring in the film. However, Kumar is already eying Dixit for an item track after the success of ‘Ghagra’ in ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (2013).
