Madhuri Dixit-Nene takes break from acting

Madhuri Dixit-Nene is an actress many yearned to see back on the big screen. However, her two films ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ and ‘Gulaab Gang’ have flunked in the first three months of 2014, it seems she has now decided to take a break from acting. In fact, Dixit-Nene is now focussing on dance.

Talking to Asian Age about the online dancing school on her website, the actress said, “Yes, it�۪s very exciting. It has been my dream to take dance to every home. It is wonderful to have the likes of Saroj Khan, Birju Maharaj, Remo D�۪Souza and Terence Lewis teaching different dance forms on my website”.

“There is nothing for me right now. I am enjoying my well-deserved break. I was so busy with the shoot and promotion of two films back-to-back that I haven�۪t had the time to sit and think about my next project…��I�۪d love to tell you that I get 10 scripts everyday and that I can�۪t accept them due to clash of dates, but I�۪d rather let my work do the talking,” said Dixit-Nene, rather frankly.

Dixit-Nene also said that she will not be in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ opposite Anil Kapoor as previous reports suggested.
