Madhuri Dixit Nene not getting interesting scripts

The last time Madhuri Dixit Nene was seen on the big screen was in ‘Gulab Gang’ (2014), and is seems audiences will have to wait a little longer before seeing her there again. This is because she hasn’t been receiving many interesting scripts.

“Madhuri isn’t someone who would sign a film just to be back in the limelight. She has to be convinced about the script and she’s not ready to settle down for anything less than that,” Deccan Chronicle reports a source stating.

It went on to add, “Nothing has been interesting enough yet. She’s looking forward to doing something unusual, but she’s not happy with the offers right now.”

Dixit is having a lot of fun on the small screen, having judged on reality dance shows such as ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ and ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. However, she is looking to get back into acting. “She’s getting a lot of offers to judge reality shows, and she’s been doing that for a while now. So, she’s currently looking at doing films with varied roles,” the source added.
