When Madhuri Dixit-Nene got married and moved to her marital home in Denver, USA, it was believed that would be the last the audiences would see of her. That was until she made her comeback move ‘Aaja Nachle’ in 2007. Now a permanent Mumbai resident living with her husband and two children, the actress expressed how she missed the open space and free-time that the USA had to offer.

“It is a little chaotic in Mumbai, but I won’t say that I don’t enjoy it. I enjoy my work, I enjoy what I do and I enjoy being in the space where I can do all these wonderful things. Yes, I do miss the space in Denver, where I could take them to the park and play and all of that, but with all our limitations, we have our clubs in Mumbai or we put them into sports to make up for that. But I wish Mumbai had a little more open space,” One India Entertainmentreported Dixit-Nene saying.

Currently in the midst of promoting her forthcoming film ‘Gulaab Gang’, she went onto say that despite not having her career, she was living the dream in the U.S. “Yes being an actress, being the best, trying to do the best, that was all part of your career, but when you dream of the bigger picture, family was the big picture and I was living the dream.”

‘Gulaab Gang’ will see Dixit-Nene share the screen with Juhi Chawla for the first time, who will be seen in her first negative role. The film is set to hit the silver screens on 7th March.
