Madhuri Dixit-Nene lends vocals to ‘Gulaab Gang’ soundtrack

Madhuri Dixit-Nene has often given a glimpse of her singing voice in various reality TV shows. However, this time she has officially turned playback singer in her forthcoming movie, ��Gulaab Gang�۪. Not only that, the actress�۪s mother, Snehlata Dixit, will be heard on the track too.

It is a less known fact that Snehlata is a trained classical singer and she will be singing for a film for the first time. The song in question is said to be a folk song, as confirmed by director Soumik Sen, and will feature the voices of both mother and daughter.

Interestingly, on the day the song was to be recorded, Madhuri was accompanied by her parents and it then became known that her mother was a trained singer. When Sen requested that she sing, she obliged and made the song a memorable one for both the movie and Madhuri.
