Since the song ‘Pinga’ from ‘Bajirao Mastani’ hit the tube, lots of comparisons have been made with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s song ‘Dola Re’ from ‘Devdas’.
The only obvious similarity between the two songs is that there are two leading ladies taking centrestage in both videos. Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra lead ‘Pinga’, while Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan front the ‘Devdas’ song.
Talking about the comparisons being made, Dixit told the press at an event yesterday, ���I would say don�۪t make comparisons and enjoy for what it is. I haven�۪t seen the song yet as I am travelling. I am sure they would have done a great job as it is Deepika and Priyanka. I would say just enjoy for what it is. They also have worked hard for sure on dance.”
