Madhur Bhandarkar’s next based on Bollywood’s star wives?

Madhur Bhandarkar is known to make some interesting films in the past, however, the filmmaker has been laying low of late.

PinkVilla reports that Bhandarkar is working on innovative concept based on Bollywood’s star wives including Gauri Khan, Mira Rajput Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna, who all are married to some of the industry’s biggest actors.

A source told the publication, “Madhur is currently writing a script based on the star wives and looking forward to translating it to celluloid. The movie will be titled Bollywood Wives. The script will highlight them in not-so-good light.”

Bhandarkar’s spokesperson told the publication that he has only registered the title and has no plans to take the film forward. Bhandarkar is also said to be in talks with various actors for his next based on Inspector Ghalib but no concrete details have emerged about the film.
