Madhu Chopra confirms Priyanka has no time for Hindi films this year

Despite being linked to various Bollywood projects, Priyanka Chopra will not be taking on any Hindi films for the remainder of this year, its been confirmed by mother Madhu Chopra.

According to Mid-Day, Madhu said that Priyanka hasn’t got time for a Hindi film this year due to her commitments in Hollywood.

She was cited in the publication saying, “Priyanka has no time this year to do a Hindi film.”

Asked about rumours of her being associated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Gustaakhiyaan’, Madhu said, “I have not seen any paperwork or documents, so I can’t say anything [of Priyanka working with Bhansali]. The film that he is working on is nice. I have read the script and it is beautiful. I think he is the right person to make it. If he [Bhansali] is making it this year, then Priyanka is definitely not doing it. Priyanka and Bhansali are good friends, they share a warm relationship. They meet whenever she is in Mumbai.”
