Madhavan to star in Mani Ratnam’s next?

R Madhavan and Mani Ratnam have joined hands in a number of projects. It seems this could be happening once more is all goes to plan.

“Mani sir is in talks with a few actors and this includes Madhavan. But he hasn’t signed anyone yet and the process will take a few more weeks,” said a source close to Ratnam, according to Filmfare.

The source also continued to divulge that the film won’t be a romantic story, “He is exploring a different genre and it won’t be another romantic flick this time. Also, the film might feature two male protagonists”.

If the project goes ahead with Madhavan, it’ll be the fourth time they collaborate.
