Lyca Radio ties-up with horror film ‘Barun Rai & The House on the Cliff’
London’s popular Asian radio station, Lyca Radio has tied up with psychological horror film ‘Barun Rai & The House on the Cliff’ as a part of its Halloween programming.
Starting on Monday 25th October, the station will air exclusive content from the film to mark its cinema release on Friday 29th October. The station has secured exclusive interviews and giveaways, which coincide with Halloween weekend.
Sam Bhattacharjee, Creative Director said, “The partnership between Lyca Radio 1458 and ‘Barun Rai and the House in the Cliff’ has been a pivotal one. Our film is a paranormal horror-thriller which tells a story that celebrates the British audiences who migrated to these isles in the 1970s. Lyca offered invaluable help in translating this story to screen.”

The film stars popular TV star Nyra Banerjee, who shot to fame in fiction ‘Divya Drishti’. It is set in the 1970’s England and it tells the gripping story of Harmesh and Soumili, who move into their dream home unbeknownst to the spate of mysterious suicides plaguing the area and local police force. Perplexed and alarmed by the many strange deaths, the couple seek answers from Detective Barun Rai – a specialist investigator famed for unravelling paranormal crimes.
Nyra joins a talented line-up including Sid Makkar (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), Priyanshu Chaterjee (Love will find a way) and talented British actors Tony Richardson, George Dawson, and Emma Galliano amongst others.
The film is produced by Producer-Director Sam Bhattacharjee and will screen in various Cineworld and Vue cinemas across the country this Halloween.
