Lyca Radio prepares to go national on DAB

London’s popular Asian radio station, Lyca Radio UK is set to go national on DAB digital radio later this year.

Lyca Radio UK is expected to launch sometime in Q1/18 with plans currently being put in place for its programming. The station’s output is also said to be different to its existing London station.

Lyca Radio UK has been described as a music-led service with a particular emphasis on British Asian Urban artists within a music mix that also appeals to young and older British Asian listeners. The station’s daytime output will include a mix of music, chat and phone-ins relevant to a wide range of listeners.
