Lyca Radio goes all-out on a Laila Basmati Rice frenzy

London’s popular Asian station, Lyca Radio has been celebrating the success of its month-long roadshows promoting Laila Basmati Rice.

As a result of the live outdoor broadcasts, Tesco Hayes reported to have Laila Basmati Rice flying off the shelves at the weekend.

With the help of Lyca Radio, Laila Basmati has been broadcasting from different locations around London inviting people to try their products and have fun with the Lyca Radio and Lyca Dilse presenters. So far Laila Basmati and Lyca Radio have been to Goodmayes, Colindale, Southall and Hayes with the next festivities happening this Saturday.

Station Manager and Radio Broadcaster Tony Patti, of Dilse Radio said, ���We love getting out and about with our listeners to have fun and that�۪s exactly what we are doing with the help of Surya foods. We are getting our listeners of all ages join in with us and helping create awareness of new products�۝.

Harry Dulai, Managing Director of Surya Foods (owner of Laila Basmati Rice) said, ���it was great to see so many people coming out and enjoying our products. We wanted to get into the heart of the communities around London, and with the help of Lycaradio, we�۪ve managed to do that. The response we are getting is incredible, so much so that we ran out of stock last Saturday!�۝.

Lyca Radio will be announcing its next stop on-air soon. It is available on 1458AM and digital radio in Greater London, meanwhile Lyca Dilse is available on 1035AM.
