Lyca Productions rope in Akshay Kumar for ‘Robot 2.0’

Lyca Mobiles Group’s Lyca Productions has announced its latest film ‘Robot 2.0′, which will star Akshay Kumar opposite South Indian superstar, Rajinkanth.

Kumar took to Twitter to confirm the news with a picture, alongside Rajinikanth, music director AR Rahman, director Shankar and Lyca Productions’ Subas Karan.

The film will be known as ‘2.0’, which is being shot in 3D made with top technicians from all over the globe. Legacy Effects from USA, the world No.1 Animatronics company who worked on movies like ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘Avengers’ has been signed in for this movie.

This seems like one of Lyca Productions’ biggest projects to date. ‘Robot 2.0′ will go on the floors next year.

Lyca Productions’ is Lyca Mobiles Group’s other venture, with telecommunication business, Lycamobile leading the pack and newly set-up company Lyca Media overlooking the company’s radio and IPTV projects.
