Love Marriage makes way for new drama series

ZEE TV’s not so popular series Love Marriage is set to end its short run on ZEE TV in the beginning of next year. The soap which has been running on ZEE TV since September of this year has had a reasonable response but nothing that has stirred a craze. It will end on ZEE TV India on 17th Nov but viewers of ZEE TV Europe can continue to see the series until the beginning of January.

The drama is set to be replaced by a new different soap called Astitva-Ek Prem Kahani. The story of a romance between an older woman (Dr Simran) and a young man (Abhimanyu), who get married!

The concept note describes it as “A torrid romance, a wedding shrouded in ambiguity, a short lived honeymoon, an insecure motherhood and the dramatic rise in Abhimanyu’s career – all this and more is what is in store for Simran. How she finally emerges a winner out of a situation where she has no control, is what Astitva – Ek Prem Kahani is all about.” Apoorva Purohit, President of ZEE TV India told the website Exchange4Media.
