Comedian Lovdev Barpaga has been confirmed as one of the new presenters on Free Radio’s new Breakfast show in Birmingham.
Barpaga was crowned 2017’s King of Puns at the recent UK Pun Championships. He will be joining Tim Warwood and Lauren Crace, who will front the new show, which launches on Monday 22nd January.
Warwood is known as the presenter of ‘Wild!’ on CBBC and co-host of Red Bull’s spectacular ‘Soapbox’ series on Dave. Crace has starred in hit TV shows ‘Eastenders’ and ‘Mr Selfridge’ and will soon appear in a joint ITV & Amazon production of Vanity Fair.
Warwood said, “this is a dream come true – waking up the city I grew up in is such a privilege” and Lauren added “I’m a born and bred Brummie and I am so proud to call this city my home. I cannot wait to get started, bab!”
