The third installment of comic franchise, ‘Hera Pheri,’ (2000),’Hera Pheri 3’was in the news for the absence of its central actor, Akshay Kumar.Thesecond schedule which was supposed to start on Monday, throughout different locationslikeParis, Las Vegas, and UAE,has been indefinitely postponed, as director Neeraj Vora’s mother passed away on Friday.

As quoted in Mid-Day, actor Neha Sharma, one of the leads of the film, confirmed the development. “Since Neeraj sir’s mom passed away, I am guessing the shoot will take some time to resume. We are not shooting on May 11.”

Actors John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan are the newest additions to the film, in place of Kumar. The original actors of the comedy, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty are still among the cast, along with Sharma and Esha Gupta. Understandably Vora and producer Firoz Nadiadwala remained unavailable for comment.

BizAsia gives their condolencesand wishes much strength toVora and his family.
