Litt Corporation to launch more TV channels?

The Litt Corporation could be expanding its TV portfolio, according to latest industry buzz.

The media giant that is run by Dr Avtar Lit currently runs Sunrise TV, a free-to-air entertainment channel on the Sky Digital platform and plans to launch more channels next year.

It is not clear what the new channels will be but could provide free channels in genres like movies and religious. Sunrise TV has been a huge success since its inception in Spring 2008. The channel regularly hits a weekly reach audience of half a million.

There had been speculation about the corporation acquiring existing free-to-air channels like MATV and Venus TV but these have been strongly denied by both parties. Representatives from the two channels said that there was no truth whatsoever in these rumours as they were running successfully in the avatar they are in.
