Lisa Ray and Satya Paul launch sari collection

Bollywood��celebrities are always walking the fashion ramps, to represent their favourite designers. However, actress Lisa Ray has decided to go one step ahead and team up with fashion designer Satya Paul and design a small collection of saris.

The actress who overcame battling cancer, aims to tell a story through the collection, as she tweeted, “Launching Lisa Ray for Satya Paul on May 23 in Canada. These saris tell a story… and they are ‘maha’ sexy and vibrant.” With her surviving the disease, Ray is using this project in order to raise money for curing cancer, whereby the proceeds of the collection will be donated to a cancer centre.

Best known for his vibrant yet elegant designs Satya Paul, is one of India’s most leading designers. Having collections that endorse character and poise, Paul creates Eastern and Western designs that never fail to impress.
