Lilly Singh’s American late night show confirmed to launch in September

YouTube star, Lilly Singh’s late night show ‘A Little Late with Lilly Singh’ has been confirmed to launch in September.

According to a tweet posted by the popular social media icon, the show will air launch on NBC on 16th September, making her the only woman hosting a late night show on US networks.

Singh was cited in Hollywood Reporter saying, “I’m literally counting down the days until the premiere. It’s 53. I’m thrilled to be collaborating with this all-star team of writers as we work to bring a new, authentic perspective to late night.”

The report adds that veteran producer, John Irwin has come on board as showrunner for the series. Meanwhile, Sean O’Connor, Marina Cockenberg, Sergio Serna, Mona Mira, Jen Burton and Jonathan Giles are confirmed writers for the show.
