Life OK confirms launch of ‘Chandrakanta’

Life OK has confirmed the launch date of its new period drama ‘Chandrakanta’, which launches in March.

The show, which stars Gaurav Khanna, Kritika Kamra and Chandan Anand. The latter plays the negative character on the show.

At the time of signing up for the show, Kamra said, “I have never been part of a costume drama before. I have watched the first ‘Chandrakanta’ as a child, but nostalgia isn’t the reason I am taking it up. I found the script interesting. The central character is not only a beautiful woman, but she’s also a fighter and has a sense of purpose.”

Incidentally, Colors is also making a show based on the same story, which launches later in the year. However, Life OK’s show ‘Chandrakanta’ will be first to go on-air, starting Saturday 4th March at 20:00.
